Offer condolences


Larry Moody passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the age of 76. He was born May 29, 1937, in Knoxville, Tenn.

Larry served in the U.S. Army. He owned 4 M Automotive in Converse, Texas, for 28 years. Larry was a life member of the Converse VFD, SAFES EMS, Converse Noon Lions Club, NRA member, and a member of the Country Church in Marion. He always put his family first, put others above himself, and was active in the community. We will cherish all the memories we have, praising God he is now healed. One day we will join him in heaven, said his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Moody Hynes; and grandparents James and Martha Moody.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Ann Moody; son Larry Moody and wife Tanya; daughter Michelle Wille and husband Ian; grandchildren Trent Moody and Allison Wille; and numerous extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 10 a.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Universal City.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, La Vernia Volunteer Fire Department, or the La Vernia EMS.
