Falls City sets playschool dates

The Falls City Independent School District will hold its 4- and 5-year-old Summer Playschool Program in June. Both programs will be Monday through Friday, from 8:30-11:30 a.m., with 4-year-olds attending June 2-6, and 5-year-olds attending June 9-13.

Registration for the 4-year-old program will be held on the playground at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2. All children within the Falls City school district who will turn 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2014, are encouraged to attend playschool.

Registration for the 5-year-old program will also be held on the playground at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 9. All children who will be attending Falls City school district next year and who will turn 5 on or before September 1, 2014, are encouraged to attend playschool.

Playschool will be held in the first portable building between the cafeteria and ag building. Parents may drop children off and pick them up in the bus turn-around area.

Jeri Baugh and Phyllis Jarzombek will provide supervision for both programs.
