ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. AUSTIN -- The Texas Department of Public Safety is reminding the public that the reward for Benjamin Dominguez, 47, has increased to $20,000 for information leading to his capture if the tip comes in during the month of May. The Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender and this month’s featured fugitive is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender and a parole violation. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

Dominguez is a known Barrio Azteca member, and believed to be a transient. He has lived in El Paso; Socorro, Texas; Las Cruces, N.M.; and Modesto, Calif. His criminal history includes indecency with a child, assault causing bodily injury, possession of a controlled substance and burglary. Dominguez was previously featured by the U.S. Marshals Service during Operation Guardian, a national initiative that specifically targeted the country’s most dangerous noncompliant sex offenders. Dominguez is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 225 pounds. He has been known to use several aliases, and he has numerous tattoos on his arms, left wrist and neck.

Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.

There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips:
•Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
•Text the letters DPS -- followed by your tip -- to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
•Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
•Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

All calls, texts, e-mails and Facebook messages are anonymous.

DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives for the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Sex Offender lists. You can find the current lists -- with photos on the DPS website at http://www.dps.texas.gov/texas10mostwanted/.

Do not attempt to apprehend these fugitives; they are considered armed and dangerous.
