Roberto Martinez Huron Sr., 61, of Floresville will spend the next four years on probation, following a plea agreement approved May 21 in Wilson County District Court.

Huron pled guilty to one count each of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and deadly conduct for his role in a July 22, 2013, incident that occurred in his home on Montesito Lane north of Floresville. Officials said earlier that Huron fired a .22 caliber handgun at his son. When his wife and grandchildren ran into a bedroom and hid in a closet, officials said Huron fired three shots through the bedroom door before one of the children called 911.

Also set to appear for his arraignment before Judge Stella Saxon of the 218th Judicial District was Jeffrey Pratt, 49, of Floresville, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and deadly conduct in a two-count indictment related to a May 7, 2013, incident that occurred in a home at the corner of K and Frick streets in Floresville. Court records indicate that Pratt was not present in court, so his arrest warrant remains open.

Charles Hewitt also remains the subject of an open arrest warrant, due to his failure to be present for his scheduled arraignment. The 54-year-old Pleasanton resident is charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault for his alleged role in a 2013 head-on crash that killed a woman and injured her husband.

Among those present in court were:

•Natalie L. Dickson, 21, charged with burglary of a habitation for being one of two who allegedly committed a burglary at a family member’s home near La Vernia. Her case was dismissed, due to a conviction on an unrelated charge in Bexar County.

•Jerry Lee Janysek, 49, of Poth, charged with retaliation in connection with a Feb. 12 incident in which he allegedly threatened to shoot a man he is charged with shooting in 2013. A pretrial hearing and docket call on both cases is set for June 3, with jury selection ahead of his trial set for June 23.

•Nicholas Moreno, 27, of Floresville, charged with aggravated assault in connection with an Oct. 31, 2013, incident in Floresville. He is set to return to court for both a pretrial hearing and docket call July 23, with jury selection ahead of his trial set for Aug. 4.

•Steven Pruski, 43, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for his alleged role in a March 11 incident outside the Circle B Gun Shop near La Vernia. He is set to return to court for a pretrial hearing July 14, followed by a docket call July 23. Jury selection ahead of his trial is set for Aug. 4.

•John David Ray, 26, of of Stockdale, charged with deadly conduct following a March 18 road-rage incident on S.H. 97 East, who hired an attorney. His arraignment has been rescheduled to June 3.

•Royce Houston Smith, 40, charged with possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility. Two days earlier, Smith hired his own attorney after firing his second court-appointed attorney. Both Smith and his alleged accomplice, Basilio Garcia, 30, return to court for a docket call June 3, with jury selection ahead of their trial set for June 23.
