Attention, all you scientists-in-training! You’re invited to join the fun with the Summer Reading Club at the Falls City Public Library as it presents “Fizz! Boom! Read!” The library is located at 206 North Irvin in Falls City, and hours are 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The self-paced reading club has several activities planned, including story time, arts and crafts, visits from the Mad Scientists of Austin/San Antonio, the Austin Reptile Show, and the Amazing Mr. Pitts, and more. Additionally, children will earn a certificate and win incentive prizes for the number of books they read.

Preregistration is already under way, with official registration to be held Monday, June 2.
