Offer condolences


Dennise Allen Schuetz, 43, of Stockdale, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. She was born on Sept. 11, 1970, in Austin to Dennis Leroy and Linda Marie (Nusbaum) Allen.

Dennise was a graduate of the Stockdale High School class of 1989. She served as a licensed vocational nurse at McKenna Hospital in New Braunfels prior to becoming the office manager at B&D Pool Supply in Seguin.

She was preceded in death by her father; and her grandparents, Geraldine and Roy Allen and Delrose and Nick Nusbaum.

Dennise is survived by her life partner, Scott Allen; son Aaron Allen; mother Linda Nusbaum Allen; sisters Katherine Garner and husband Jason and Tiffany Allen; niece Kelly Garner; nephew Dennis Garner; mother-in-law and father-in-law Roger and Mary Allen; brothers-in-law Christopher Allen and wife Katherine and Jonathan Allen and wife Lisa; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31, at noon in the Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel in Seguin.

A funeral service was held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the mortuary chapel, officiated by the Rev. Tom Jones.

Interment followed in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park in New Braunfels.

Serving as pallbearers were Christopher Allen, Jonathan Allen, Joshua Nusbaum, Randy Kay, Monte Nusbaum, and Jason Garner.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Guadalupe County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1593, Seguin, TX 78155-1593, or to a charity of one’s choice.
