Charter Night Banquet June 12

The Stockdale Lions Club will host the Charter Night Banquet of the Stockdale Leo Club Thursday, June 12, in the Stockdale High School cafeteria. The cafeteria is located at 502 Fourth St. in Stockdale. A social will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner served at 7 p.m.

The keynote speaker will be 2-A2 District Governor Rod C. Chisholm.

The cost, payable at the door, is $10 per guest or $5 per Leo member.

According to Stockdale Lions Club President Lion Angelicque Schmidt, children ages 12 to 18 from Wilson County are encouraged to join. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month in the Stockdale Public Library.
