Cancer survivors dinner set

For the Cause, sponsored by NOW Ministries, will hold its second annual Survivors Dinner benefiting cancer awareness and those who have been affected by the illness on Monday, June 9, at 7 p.m. in the Floresville Event Center at 600 S.H. 97 W. in Floresville.

The event will feature a dinner, door prizes, and guest speaker Nannette Quintanilla, a seven-year cancer survivor. The event is free to any and all cancer survivors. Family and friends will pay a $10 donation at the door.
