Osborne Stables Equine Rescue will hold Horse Day Camps from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for children ages 7-16, at its stables at 5056 U.S. 87 West in Sutherland Springs. Classes will be June 9-13, 16-20, and 23-27, for $140 per week.

Participants will need to take a sack lunch, a lawn chair, sunscreen, and a hat. Lunch will be provided on Fridays. Boot-type shoes and jeans are required, as children learn about horse care and maintenance, safety and handling, and riding basics.

Volunteer help is needed for the camp sessions and the summer.
