High taxes. That’s what happens when you vote for every park, pool, golf course, community center, bike path, and school building project. Voters don’t realize that voting for bond issues will mean higher taxes one way or another because these projects must be paid for. . . .

Try selling farmland at the same price per acre as you would sell land for development of a subdivision. Vast difference!
