Tomorrows leaders: Ashlee Rangel Stockdale High School salutatorian
Ashlee Taylor Rangel
Ashlee Taylor Rangel is the 2014 salutatorian for Stockdale High School. She is the daughter of Santiago “Jimmy” and Gennie Rangel, and the granddaughter of Pete and Sulema Rangel of Stockdale, Sophia and Vernon Stamper of Coleman, and the late JR and Ruby Bell, formerly of Marble Falls.
Ashlee is an active member of the Stockdale Bilingual Church of Christ. Throughout her high school career, Ashlee served as class officer for three years as well being a member of National Honor Society, where she was an officer for one year. She also participated in UIL spelling two years and One-Act Play for one year. Athletically, Ashlee was a cheerleader all four years and played volleyball and basketball four years, softball three years, and tennis one year, receiving several All-District and Academic All-District honors.
Outside of school, Ashlee served as the Stockdale Watermelon Jubilee Princess in 2010-11 and Queen Melone LXVIII in 2012-13.
Ashlee plans to attend UTSA in the fall studying pre-dental with a major in biology and continue on to dental school to become an orthodontist.
