Tomorrows leaders: Jonathan Sekula Falls City High School valedictorian
Jonathan Sekula is the 2014 valedictorian for Falls City High School. He is the son of Felix and Patsy Sekula.
Jonathan’s school activities included football, baseball, track, Spanish Club, UIL, FFA, National Honor Society, and band.
One of the greatest moments he experienced was when his grades were finally locked in at the end of his senior year. He was told that he was valedictorian and knew that all of his hard work and dedication had paid off.
Jonathan’s advice to younger students is to try to enjoy yourself no matter how difficult or stressful your classes, sports, or extracurricular activities may become.
He believes he would not be who is today without the support of his parents and brother. Also, his friends made high school fun and memorable while relieving him from some school stresses.
This fall Jonathan plans to attend Texas A&M University and study engineering. After taking his basics, he will decide which branch of engineering to pursue.
