Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Stepke of Floresville, Texas, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Anthony Jay, to Jennifer Kristine Adams of Houston, the daughter of James and Kristina Adams of Mattawan, Mich.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Mattawan High School and a graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in interpersonal communications.

The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Floresville High School and a 2011 graduate of Texas A&M University, where he received a degree in industrial engineering. Anthony is presently employed as a project manager for Trans Canada.

The couple are planning an Aug. 2, 2014, wedding in the Basilica of Saint Adalbert in Grand Rapids, Mich.
