Be skeptical of ads that say you can make lots of money working from the comfort of your home. If this were true, wouldn’t we all be working at home?

Megan Hernandez of Floresville, a 2014 graduate of Engineering and Technologies Academy at Roosevelt High School, is seeking help to raise funds to cover travel and lodge expenses for her five-day trip to Washington, D.C., June 27 through July 1.

Megan and her team competed in the Texas State Technology Student Association (TSA) conference in Waco, where they earned top honors in the “Video On-demand” category, qualifying them to compete at the national level where they will face competitive events and challenging activities that will foster personal growth and leadership development. TSA is the only student organization devoted exclusively to the needs of students engaged in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Individuals or businesses that would be interested in helping Megan may call 210-716-7736 or email tmicheleh@yahoo.com.
