SAN ANTONIO -- Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information after a body was found June 18 at a ranch off Donop Road west of I-37.

According to sheriff’s office spokesman Rosanne Hughes, the victim was identified as 19-year-old Xavier Joseph Cordero. An autopsy concluded that the manner of his death was homicide.

Deputies were called to the scene at 8:30 a.m., when someone found an unresponsive Cordero face-down inside the ranch’s property line. He appeared to have trauma to his face and chest area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at 210-335-6070 or San Antonio Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (7867).
