Jimmy Ray Hyden passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 70 years, 9 months, and 22 days. He was born Aug. 26, 1943, in Poteet to Frank and Mary Elizabeth Pruitt Hyden. He was a resident of San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Diana Hyden; a sister, Lillian; and a brother, Marion.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Laurie Hidalgo of San Antonio; his son, Perry Hyden and wife Leticia of San Antonio; a sister, Mary Semmler; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

A memorial service and inurnment will follow at a later date.
