Offer condolences


Trinidad Rodriguez went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 20, 2014. She was born Aug. 10, 1919.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Rodriguez; daughter-in-law Janie Rodriguez; son-in-law Ruben G. Wilborn; and two great-grandchildren.

Trinidad is survived by her daughters, Helen Campos and husband Lupe, and Adela Wilborn; her sons, Richard Rodriguez and wife Stella, Jesse Rodriguez and wife Susie, and Eddie Rodriguez; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and sister Eva De La Pena.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 23, from 5-8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.

A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in La Vernia, officiated by the Rev. Dennis A. Jarzombek.

Interment followed in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery in St. Hedwig.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Ann’s Catholic Church, or to a charity of one’s choice.
