Offer condolences


Melbalee Mary Elizabeth Dugi, 72, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She was born Aug. 15, 1941, in Floresville to Astor J. and Louise Bertha (Hagemann) Schnautz.

Melba was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leroy Kenneth Schnautz.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Chester L. Dugi; her son, Gregory Paul Dugi and wife Angela; grandchildren Matthew James, Mary Kate, and Emma Rose; her sister, Dorothy Ann Bray; and many loving friends.

Visitation was held Sunday, June 22, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service was held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Salem Sayers Baptist Church in Adkins, with Brother Brett Edwards officiating.

Interment followed in the Floresville City Cemetery in Floresville.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
