1980-2014

Coburn Troy “Coby” York, 33, formerly of Nixon, Texas, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in Fort Worth. He was born Sept. 11, 1980, to Tammy Jean (Posey) and Bennie L. York Jr.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Bennie L. York Sr., and Charles and Lois Posey.

Coby is survived by his parents, Bennie and Tammy York of Stockdale; two brothers, Jacob York of Fort Worth and Layton York and wife Kristin of San Antonio; his sister, Morgan Myers and husband Clint of Catoosa, Okla.; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends.

A graveside funeral service was held Saturday, June 21, at 2 p.m. in the Nixon Cemetery in Nixon.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
