Troy Lynn Dominguez, 47, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014, in San Antonio. He was born on Oct. 11, 1966, in Newport, R.I.

Troy was a very talented artist and often shared his testimony with others, both physically and spiritually.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Eugene A. Lenz; and his aunt, Susan Jo Griffith.

Troy is survived by his mother, Martha Lenz of La Vernia; sister Dawn Lenz of San Antonio; aunts Jan Wilson of Falls City, Judy Loveless of Montana, and Lisa Canellis and husband Joe of Bandera; uncles James Mercer and wife Debbie of Fort Worth and Mark D. Mercer of San Antonio; numerous cousins; and many friends.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, June 24, at 7 p.m. in the River Oaks Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs.

Memorial contributions may be made in Troy’s name to River Oaks Baptist Church, 10294 F.M. 539, Sutherland Springs, TX 78161, or to a charity of one’s choice.
