Now in its fourth week, the fun at the Summer Reading Club at the Falls City Public Library just keeps on going. This week, the library staff is pleased to announce that Miss Karnes County Taylor Dziuk will be visiting the library Wednesday, June 25, at 3 p.m.

Taylor will help the library staff do a Fourth of July craft and read a story for the attendees about our country’s birthday and how we celebrate.

The fun continues, with an Ice Cream Social set for Thursday, June 26. Everyone gets to make their own ice cream to eat and enjoy. There will be plenty of supplies on hand, so come join the library staff and volunteers inside where it’s cool out of the hot sun.

The last day to count books for certificates and door prizes is Wednesday, July 9. Anyone who reads 25 books will be entered in a drawing for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 with a tri-fold cover. The Falls City Library still has plenty of prizes for the children to earn so keep reading. Book and DVD sales are still going on so stop by and check out what the library has to offer.

For more information, call the Falls City Public Library at 830-254-3361 between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
