Vincent H. Moy, 80, of Karnes City, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, in Brenham. He was born on Oct. 6, 1933, in Gillett to Herman and Suzanna Titzman Moy.

Vincent was a retired UPS delivery agent and a farmer and rancher. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country proudly during the Korean War, and was a faithful member of the St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City. On Sept. 12, 1956, he married Gladys Kunschik Moy in Runge, who preceded him in death on Oct. 12, 2001.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Kunschik Moy; and parents Herman and Suzanna Titzman Moy.

Vincent is survived by his daughters, Robyn Michalcik and husband Wesley of Hallettsville and Rebecca Colonnetta and husband Michael of Buda; son Nathan Moy and Shannon Clinard of Anderson; sisters Theresa Pawlik of Kenedy and Louisa Bronder of San Antonio; brothers August Moy of Cestohowa and Joe Moy of Abilene; grandchildren Dustin Michalcik, Jessica Colonneta Klingsick and husband Andrew, Jennifer Colonneta, Leah Moy, Luke Moy, and Trenton Moy; and special friend Agnes Jaskina.

A rosary was recited Sunday, June 29, at 7 p.m. in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel in Kenedy.

A funeral Mass was held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City, with the Rev. Stanislaw Marciniak officiating.

Interment followed in the Karnes City Cemetery in Karnes City.

Serving as pallbearers were Edwin Wiatrek, Bruce Wiatrek, Greg Wiatrek, Danny Leal, Jake Polasek, Jeff Kerlick, Mart Moy, and Bobby Drees.
