Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court No. 2649 of St. Ann’s Parish in La Vernia hosted the installation of District 13 officers for 2014-15. The installation ceremony was conducted by District Deputy Lydia Martinez in Goertz Hall on June 14.

The ceremony began with a procession, followed by a prayer service led by Mary M. Mainz, past Regent of Court St. Ann Mother of Mary, which included Scripture readings, songs, and prayers with responses by the group.

After the officers’ pledges and candle-lighting ceremony, a reception was hosted by La Vernia Court members. Reports of their successful activities and projects were given by the five outgoing regents.
