Corbin, Thayer plan August wedding
Clayton Dean “Deano” Thayer and Chelsey Marie Corbin
Phillip and Cindy Corbin of San Antonio, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Chelsey Marie, to Clayton Dean “Deano” Thayer, the son of Sharon Thayer of Floresville and the late Richard Thayer.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lillian Witte-Kosub of San Antonio and the late Allen E. Kosub, and the late Robert and Lois Corbin, formerly of San Antonio.
Chelsey is a graduate of Trinity Christian Academy in San Antonio and Texas State University in San Marcos. She is employed with Trinity Christian Academy as a second-grade teacher.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mildred Hohmann of Shawnee, Okla., and the late Bill Hohmann, and Edison Thayer of Buda and the late La Verne Thayer.
Deano is a graduate of Floresville High School and Texas A&M University-San Antonio. He is employed with Bartlett-Cocke General Contractors as an assistant superintendent.
The couple plan to wed on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in La Vernia, Texas.
