Mr. and Mrs. Richard Scheffler of Kosciusko, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Lenert Heiman of Shiner are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Jamie Leigh Scheffler and David Anthony Heiman.

Jamie is the granddaughter of Maggie Jarzombek of Poth and the late Leon Jarzombek, and the late Anton and Sylvia Scheffler, formerly of Kosciusko.

David is the grandson of Mary Gallia of Shiner and the late Adolph Gallia, and the late Adolph and Hilda Heiman, formerly of Shiner.

The bride-elect, a 2005 graduate of Poth High School, is a 2010 graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos. She is currently employed with the Navarro Independent School District.

The prospective groom, a 1999 graduate of Shiner High School, is a 2004 graduate of Texas State University. He is currently employed by Alert Services.

The couple will be wed Saturday, July 5, 2014, in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko, Texas.
