The Hot Nights Cool Tunes Summer Concert Series returns to downtown Brenham at 7 p.m. every Saturday in July. Take your families and lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of outdoor music and fun.

The lineup for 2014 brings back some crowd favorites while adding a new band geared up to provide great performances are for each audience. Kicking off the event on July 5 is the “Texas Unlimited” band playing ’80s hits, rock ’n’ roll, and classic and current country.

On July 12, guests will enjoy the “Matchmaker Band,” a 10-piece show band specializing in the sounds of Motown, soul, funk, and dance music.

If you love the classic hits of “The Beatles” and “The Eagles” then don’t miss tribute bands “Abbey Rode” and “Already Gone” taking the stage on July 19.

Last, but not least, on July 26, returning is the explosive, electrifying “Suede” band with hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s to today.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase and local restaurants will also be open to serve concert-goers.
