The combined awards banquet for the NASCAR Camping World and Nationwide Series for the 2014 season will be held in Miami, as in recent years past, but the venue will change. According to an announcement from NASCAR on Tuesday, this year's banquet will be held at the Trump National Doral Miami on Nov. 17. It'll be the first time the facility has hosted the banquet, most recently held at Loews Miami Beach.

"NASCAR's postseason celebrations continue to be highly anticipated, can't miss events on the season's calendar," NASCAR Chief Operating Officer Brent Dewar said. "We're thrilled to shift the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Awards to Trump National Doral Miami. It's a first-class property that will certainly provide and elevated experience for our industry and our championship teams."

The joint banquet for the two series will honor both series' driver and owner champions, the top-five finishers in each series, the Rookie of the Year in each series, and each series' Most Popular Driver. Previous banquets resembled a talk show-type format for honoring the second through fifth-place finishers, followed by speeches from the champion driver and owner from each series. The format for this year's banquet has not been revealed.

"We are honored to host our first-ever join celebration of these superb events at Trump National Doral Miami," The Trump Organization Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions Donald Trump Jr. said. "Our vision for the expansive transformation has been to create an unparalleled event experience and welcome these awards to our newly restored resort."

The banquet will be shown on FOX Sports 1 on Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. ET. In previous years the banquet broadcast was just prior to almost live coverage of the Sprint Cup Series Awards, but this year, it will get its own night, as the Sprint Cup banquet will be held and televised on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas.
