The Texas Quilt Museum located at 140 W. Colorado St. in La Grange has two new exhibits on display in galleries I and III through Sept. 28, inspired by both the rich history of quilting and cutting-edge, contemporary works.

“Quilts from the Thomas Contemporary Quilt Collection” features 45 selections, all made from 1993-2013, and also includes eight works by renowned quilter and quilt instructor Ruth McDowell.
