Contest calls for healthy kid dishes
Glory Foods is looking for the best kid-friendly recipe using its canned Southern Seasoned Greens in the “Can You Make the Can Recipe Contest.”
Recipes can be submitted through Aug. 30 and will be based on creativity, simplicity, and overall appeal to children. Recipes must be original and include any canned Glory Greens item (i.e. collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens, mixed greens, or kale) as a primary ingredient.
Glory Foods representatives will select four qualifying applicants of varying ages to taste each of the recipes and rank them based on which they would be most likely to eat. Winners will receive prizes such as Visa gift cards, Glory gift basket, and their recipe featured on the label for the applicable Glory Foods product in 2015.
The contest is facilitated through the company’s Facebook page.
