Floresville, Texas -- On Monday, July 21st, Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX28) will present seven awards to Wilson County veteran, Mr. Pedro Devora. Mr. Devora contacted Congressman Cuellar’s office last November to inquire about awards he did not receive upon his discharge from the Navy. Rep. Cuellar’s constituent caseworker worked with the Department of the Navy to ensure Mr. Devora received the medals he had earned during his service.

Congressman Cuellar will also tour the HEB Pharmacy in La Vernia on Monday afternoon, where he will meet with local pharmacists and discuss accessible healthcare.

Rep. Cuellar will be available for media questions following the event.

The Wilson County News is proud to tell Pedro Devora's story. Watch for it in a coming issue. And it would be greatly appreciated if the bloggers would show some respect and leave the pettiness alone.

Irma Devora ...... This nation now has six living generations. Even the bible limits the visiting the sins of the father on the children to the third or fourth generation. Give it up.
