Cornyn discusses Reid's refusal to allow vote on HUMANE Act
WASHINGTON--U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) today addressed Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV)’s refusal to allow a vote on the HUMANE Act, bipartisan legislation designed to address the growing crisis on the southern border. “Well, the Majority Leader has said that he doesn’t like the proposal that Congressman Cuellar and I have proposed which is now being considered for inclusion in the House bill.
“But if he doesn’t like that, I ask where his solution is?
“The course we’re on is one that guarantees that this problem will continue to get worse, not better.”
