1965-2014

Ron-e Champion passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the age of 48 years. He was born on Nov. 17, 1965.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Champion; and his life partner of four years, Nathan Alvarado.

Ron-e is survived by his loving children, Caleb Champion, Ezra Champion, Zoe Champion, Zephan Champion, Calista Champion, and Elijah Champion; mother Vera Champion; sisters Jamie Hawn and husband Dennis, Suzanne Champion, Jennifer Champion, and Crystal Champion; brothers Werner Champion and wife Sarah and Ronnie Champion and wife Joann; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, July 25, at 2 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.
