If you did not travel to Branson, Mo., back in May to witness “OpryMania” and see Opry house band “Playin’ to Win” perform its “Salute to Branson,” then you’re in for a treat! On Thursday, Aug. 7, the band will give an encore performance at the Floresville Opry from 5-9:30 p.m. in the Floresville Event Center at 600 S.H. 97 West.

“Playin’ to Win” singers Conrad Gonzales, Sally Carlson, Bob Appel, and Bill Barrington, as well as special guests Julia Weaver, Stacie Land, Jim Fischer, and Carroll Retzloff, will entertain patrons with classic country music beginning at 6 p.m. The Foster Care Friends of Wilson County will provide a lasagna dinner for $7 per plate. Concessions will be available. Attendees can also bid on silent auction items and have a chance to win door prizes.

General admission is $10. Reserved tables are also available. Proceeds will benefit the Wilson County Historical Society.

For information, call Viola Henke at 830-393-6512.
