LA VERNIA -- Workouts and tryouts for the 2014 La Vernia Lady Bear volleyball team will begin Monday, Aug. 4, in the high school practice gym.

There will be two sessions during the first six days. The first session will run from 7:30-9:30 a.m., and the second session will last from noon until 3 p.m.

Athletes planning to participate should take all completed documents, including: physical, steroid form, medical release, previous participation form if needed, acknowledgement of rules, and emergency information form. No one will be allowed to work out without a completed physical. In addition, athletes should take outside shoes, court shoes, kneepads, towel, and an extra change of clothes if desired.
