In preparation to compete in the Air Force Junior ROTC National Drill Meet, the Floresville High School Air Force Junior ROTC completed its first-ever summer drill camp. The next drill camp will be held Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 4-6, at the high school, and is open to all returning cadets and new freshmen.

All new first-year cadets are encouraged to attend ROTC Orientation, which will be held Thursday and Friday, Aug. 7-8, in the ROTC building from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program will include basic preparation, uniform issue, challenge events, PT, and drill. Both the drill camp and orientation are free and include lunch, provided by the ROTC program and Air Force Junior ROTC Booster Club.
