STOCKDALE -- A 20-year-old Stockdale man is dead after a midday motorcycle crash Aug. 1 at the intersection of F.M. 1107 and C.R. 427 east of here. Caleb Lee Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Trooper Anthony Flores, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Also involved in the crash were a second motorcycle and a 1971 Jeep truck. The second motorcyclist was transported to Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville for treatment for his injuries. The truck driver was uninjured.

Flores said the crash remained under investigation.
