FLORESVILLE -- Crime Stoppers of Wilson County announced Aug. 5 that the organization is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrests of those responsible for the armed robbery of the One Stop convenience store at the Exxon gas station in Floresville last Sunday, said Detective George Ortiz of the Floresville Police Department.

Police have released the surveillance video of the incident, which occurred at 11 a.m. at the store, located at the intersection of U.S. 181 and Hospital Boulevard (S.H. 97 West). The video depicts a man wearing an orange hoodie, a black bandanna over his face, camouflage pants, and gray high-top sneakers entering the store as he racks an automatic handgun. The suspect shouts, “Stickup! Stickup!” before demanding cash, in the presence of two customers at the counter.

The man fled in a white Chevrolet Blazer, accompanied by a second unidentified suspect. The pair last were seen in the vicinity of Canta Rana Park on Goliad Road in Floresville.

Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips to Wilson County Crime Stoppers at:
•830-393-INFO (4636)
•Online at
•Via text message by sending the word "MONEY," then your message to 274637 (CRIMES).
