Tractor City ... one-stop shopping for everyone
Tractor City Country Store Office Manager Linda Zidek (left) and Liz Ciomperlik of the apparel department are ready to help customers choose from the wealth of products available at the Floresville store.
Although the distinctive green and yellow signs tell folks Tractor City is a John Deere dealership, this hometown store offers so much more than tractors and equipment.
In 2010, Tractor City expanded to better serve its customers. The store added clothing, including Wrangler, Ariat, Cinch, and Cruel Girl. A range of boots also can be found, such as Justin, Durango, Ariat, and John Deere.
Tractor City Country Store also carries a wide variety of John Deere licensed merchandise, including a large selection of John Deere toys and promotional items, such as caps, clocks, household décor, and more.
The dealership offers farm tractors, implements, lawn and garden equipment, zero-turn mowers, and supplies.
“We have the very best equipment at competitive prices,” said Linda Zidek, secretary of the local store.
Their line of John Deere, Honda, and Stihl power equipment, such as chain saws, blowers, trimmers, generators, and hardware, serves the needs of any customer, whether taking on heavy-duty farm or ranch work or home lawn or garden tasks.
Store manager Stace Debusk, parts manager Jon Kyrish, and service manager Charlie Felux and their staff can help meet customers’ needs -- from purchasing a tractor or equipment to repairs or just general upkeep.
Tractor City is a family-owned agricultural business with 11 stores across South Texas. The Ronnie Setliff family started the South Texas Implement Co. and Tractor City dealership in 1978 in Alice.
“We are small enough to know you and large enough to meet your needs,” Zidek said.
Tractor City is located at 688 S.H. 97E. in Floresville. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
