Travis Whitsett Bain II, 80, passed away peacefully in his home in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, after a brief illness. He was born March 4, 1934.

However, Travis will be best remembered for his leadership by example, achieving success with integrity and perseverance, honoring his commitment as a husband and partner with 52 years of marriage, demonstrating unconditional devotion and sacrifice to his children, and serving as a spiritual beacon of extraordinary faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karlen Bain.

Travis is survived by his sister, Gladys Jenson; sons Whit and Jim; son-in-law J.R. McGinnis; nephews Bill, Walt, and Doug Jennings; niece Julie Buell; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
