SAN MARCOS -- The Texas State University soccer team has received recognition for one player in particular. Senior captain Jourdan Brown is one of 10 student-athletes to be named to the Sun Belt Conference Leadership Team. The award is given to a letter-winning student-athlete based on leadership, sportsmanship, community service, citizenship, academic excellence, and any other qualities valued by the institution. Each institution was asked to nominate one student-athlete. . . .
