Found: 2 brindle cows, on Sept. 12, at the end of La Gura Rd. in South Bexar County, located between South Loop 1604 and the San Antonio River, Gillett Rd. on east and Schultz Rd. on the west. Call after 8 p.m., 210-310-9206.
Found: Male, MinPin?, about 2?, not fixed, sweet, very smart. Found 9/25 inside Floresville Walmart. Healthy, no fleas, clean teeth, manicured nails. Will keep if owner not found.

The Sara Strey Memorial Fund is proud to announce its 2014 scholarship winners. Sixty-seven recipients from area high schools received $75,000 in scholarships. Since the foundation’s inception five years ago, more than $275,000 has been awarded to area high school seniors.

•$5,000 scholarships: East Central High School, Jordan Hevner and Amy Moran; La Vernia High School, Shelby Rumsey and Jennifer Skryzcki

•$2,000 scholarships: East Central High School, Tyler Allen, Shelby Knox, and Kelsey Mihalski; La Vernia High School, Coby Mills and Hayden Pugh
