The Floresville Police Department has caught a break in its ongoing investigation of an Aug. 3 armed robbery.

Detective George Ortiz of the Floresville Police Department said earlier that day, the San Antonio Police Department took a report from a Dollar General on the Poteet-Jourdanton Freeway in San Antonio of a pair of men who shoplifted two orange hooded sweatshirts. The pair fled in a white Chevrolet Trailblazer with temporary license plates, which matches the description of the getaway vehicle involved in the 11 a.m. robbery of the One Stop convenience store at the Exxon gas station in Floresville.

Yesterday, police released surveillance video of the Floresville incident and announced a $1,000 reward from Crime Stoppers of Wilson County.

Hey, you two ignorant fools who committed this crime. You are probably reading the website and listening to the news. Enjoy your time out of prison while you can, because you are now the hunted.
