The Immanuel Lutheran Church invites everyone out to its 11th annual community-wide Church Festival on Sunday, Aug. 24, in the Chamber of Commerce Park in La Vernia.

A worship service will be held in the Chamber of Commerce Hall at 9 a.m., followed by a roast beef dinner for $8 at 11 a.m. Live musical entertainment will be provided by “The Accordion Cowboy,” Chris Rybak, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Activities will include a live auction at 1:15 p.m., a silent auction, water slide, cake walk, country store, games, and more.
