FLORESVILLE -- Acme Guns & Gear is offering a free Handgun 101 class on Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 7-8 p.m., for ladies interested in learning more about the various types and styles of handguns.

Shop owner Fred Ohnesorge invites ladies to go by and learn the basics of handguns, and how they operate while in a casual, friendly, and fun environment. Ohnesorge feels it is a great opportunity for ladies to discover if a handgun is for them, and if so, what kind they may want to purchase.

Ohnesorge invites those who are thinking about getting a gun, those who are new gun owners, and even those who think they may never own a gun, to go out and take part in this hands-on class. It will be for ladies only, and no shooting is involved.

To reserve a spot in the class, call Acme Guns & Gear at 830-393-4433.
