1918-2014

Dorothy Jean Moore passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the age of 96 years, 2 months, and 10 days. She was born on April 16, 1918, in Dallas, Texas, to Emory and Angelina Racugno Frazier.

Dorothy was a former resident of San Antonio and Pleasanton, and a Floresville resident for a short time.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Revely A. Moore; and grandson Daniel Paxson.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Janice Paxson of Pleasanton; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30, at 1 p.m. in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery Chapel in San Antonio.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Carlos Davalos officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Dorothy’s grandsons.
