VA strives to become paperless
As the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs works to become paperless by the year 2015, effective immediately, veterans should send forms or correspondence to: Department of Veterans Affairs, Evidence Intake Center, P.O. Box 4444, Janesville, WI 53547-4444.
The Janesville facility is responsible for scanning all claims and correspondence into the VA system to be processed. If any claims, correspondence, forms, etc. are inadvertently sent to the previous address in Houston, they will be sent to Janesville to be scanned, which will cause a significant delay.
