Estella Espinosa Ramirez went to meet our dear Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014. She was born in Leming, Texas, on April 21, 1953, to Santiago and Catarina Robles Espinosa.

Estella attended San Antonio College and was actively involved in the community with the YMCA, Moms Club of Wilson County, numerous churches, and many other nonprofit organizations. She loved to read, be outdoors, sing and dance to praise and worship music, attend classic car shows and the races at Retama Park, and most importantly spend time with her family and friends. She was a believer in all things good, pure, and lovely. She will truly be missed and while the world is poorer than it was, Heaven is much, much richer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Santiago Espinosa.

Estella is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Arnold Ramirez; two children, Patrick and Katherine; one precious grandson, Patrick Solomon; 10 loving brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews;

Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 11, at 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Allen.

Interment followed in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Serving as pallbearers were Jimmy Espinosa, Johnny Espinosa, Jesse Espinosa, Jesse Espinosa Jr., Jacob Espinosa, and D.J. Ortiz.
