1949-2014

Elizabeth “Betty” F. Krawietz, 65, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends after a long struggle with lung disease (COPD). Betty was born on May 3, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, to J. Dee and Mary M. (Snoga) Ferguson.

Betty worked in the finance department as a financial accountant for the city of San Antonio and retired after 25 years of service. She was an active member of the Polish American Center where she enjoyed many parties and activities with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Betty is survived by her husband of 49 years, Thaddeus “Ted” Krawietz; son Austin A. Krawietz; daughter Mary A. Krawietz; brother Patrick Ferguson and wife Patricia; sister Analea Boswell and husband Bill; and other numerous relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 24, followed by a reception in the Polish American Center at 2611 Mission Road in San Antonio.
