The Floresville High School Mighty Tiger Band members prepare for the 2014 marching season with summer band practice Aug. 12, as the shadows lengthen in the late afternoon sun.

Freshman band camp took place in late July. Summer band practices began Aug. 4 and will continue until school starts, with music rehearsal from 2-5 p.m. and marching practice from 6-9 p.m.
