ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Offer condolences


Frank A. Dugi, 86, of Falls City, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014. He was born Aug. 6, 1928, in Kosciusko to Conrad and Victoria Wiatrek Dugi.

Frank was a very active member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City, and the Archdiocese of San Antonio. He volunteered much of his time with the Falls City community as well. He retired from CP&L Co. after 30 years of service. He and his wife Florence were married in 1952 in Falls City.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brother Elias Dugi; and sister Rose Mary Sczepanik.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Jarzombek Dugi; brother-in-law Father Casimir Jarzombek; sisters Regina Foegelle and Gladys Billimek; and brothers Ben, Conrad, and Chester Dugi.

A rosary was recited on Friday, Aug. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the church.

Interment followed in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Falls City.
